 Prep-Grade 8 Classroom Teaching Positions
The school is owned and operated by the International Education Agency (IEA). The IEA operates 20 schools in Papua New Guinea with an enrolment of 5000 students. It is PNG’s oldest and largest private education provider.
The Ela Murray International School provides world- class education to local and expatriate students. The age range of the students is 18 months to 15 years. The school is situated on two sites: the preschool is at Ela Beach and the Murray site (Prep-Grade 8) is in Boroko.
Our teachers come from overseas and PNG and work together in their teams to ensure all students receive the highest quality education possible.
Single and married applicants, with or without children, are welcome to apply. Accompanying spouses are extremely unlikely to obtain a working permit for PNG unless they are school teachers.
Furnished housing complete with utilities and services is provided at no charge, along with reasonable removal expenses, annual leave fares, generous superannuation benefits, laptop for each teacher and free medical insurance.
